Hi JV --
I have what I thought was a birdie on my IC-756PRO right
around 50.125. It traveled/travels around within a half kc
one way or the other. I finally determined that my problem
is in a 900MHz cordless phone in my shack. Actually it's
part of the charger circuit as I can remove the phone to stop
the charging and my "birdie" goes away. When 6 meters
heats up, the phone comes off charge.

Interference can come from some of the strangest places.
Good luck and 73,
Jim - K5LAD
