>From the PS-35 schematic, it looks as if the resistance range of the LDR is
50 ~ 5000 ohms or thereabouts. Philips may still manufacture these devices
(Light Dependent Resistor or LDR). You could try a Google search on these
terms and on "photoresistor".

I'm troubleshooting a PS-35. (internal supply for a 751).

I have found that IC-1 which is a neon bulb and a CDS cell, is weak and the
resistance does not go low enough to enable the supply.

Any ideas where to get one? Any ideas on the value of the CDS cell? The neon
lamp seems to work just fine and is fairly bright so I suspect the CDS cell
itself.
