Okay, here is the info from Icom.

Change R40 from 2.2 kOhm to 560 Ohm.
Icom will send you a surface mount resistor
that is a direct replacement.

OR

Find a source for a 1/8 (or 1/16) Watt standard
resistor and  CAREFULLY  do the replacement.

You may wish to make the new resistor lower.
I found my rigs are still a "hair" hot with the 560
but don't get complaints and have not gotten
around to doing the change.

You have two choices.  Do a simple mod or sit
on your butt and continue to complain.
