Thumping problem!

When I got to his house, I saw that it was ripe for a fix - after all a fix
can only happen when you go to the attic and retrive the boxes to ship the
radio, right? !!!

K1EP suggested a loose cable.

What?  Wiggle the cable?  It couldn't be that simple, could it?

Ha!  I found the problem - the power connection had come loose on the back
of the P/S.    Sure made HIM happy - he thought he'd have to miss his nets.

The +12 VDC supply ring stake-on had come loose on the power supply because
the nut had "drifted" loose over time.

It was a good FOUR turns loose when I found it.

I couldn't imagine the radio even working in that condition, but it did.
