[ICOM] IC781 Main Tuning Knob Tension Question

Hi Tim,

I suspect the main tuning knob assembly is the same on the 781 as on the
765. If that's the case you can find the solution on my friends webpage.
Goran/SM7DLK helped another friend of mine in Sweden to fix the same problem
on a 765 and documented the whole operation. Good luck!

Even with lots of adjustment, (including removing the screw and spring) I
have a 781 main tuning knob that still has more tension than it should. It
is not stuck, but it is no where near as smooth as it should be. Has anyone
else experienced this problem?
