[ICOM] Icom 706MKIIG and DSP

In the manual for the Icom 706MKIIG there is a section
near the back showing how to install the UT-106 DSP
unit.  What am I missing here?  The MKIIG already has
DSP as standard.  Is it possible to install a second
unit to use on transmit or something?
