Jerry,
I have had to send my Pro II back twice in a year due to RF getting into
the front end while using a loop as a Rx antenna. It seems that the Rx ant
does not go to ground when transmitting so the RF comes back into the rig
and takes out a diode in the front end. I solved the problem by contacting
WWW.sultantronics.com Bruce is a Icom tech and has designed the Beverage
saver relay which is great and cheap insurance. I have been using it for
about 2 months now and it works great. Check it out.
