[ICOM] IC-756 ProII and preamps/attenuators

Hi Larry,

Preamp 1 is optimised for the lower bands (1.8 ~ 18 MHz), and Preamp 2 for
the higher bands (21 ~ 54 MHz). The attenuator is useful for increasing the
receiver dynamic range without degrading overall S/N ratio ("dBm from
Heaven").

Cheers for now, 73,

How does the preamp/attenuator discussion apply to rigs such as the Pro2
which has Preamp 1 & 2 as well as an attenuator button?

Larry
