[ICOM] IC-701

The PS-701 was an unregulated power supply. It output about 18 volts @ 20 
amps of current. You should only use this supply with an IC-701. The IC-701 
contains the necessary regulators with in it.
Remember the IC-701 radio was sold around 1977 to 1980 era so doing the 
regulation this way was fine, now days we seem to install the regulation 
within the power supply its self.

If you are a builder the PS-701 would be a fine base to build up a 
regulated power supply from.

I will say this : NEVER...NEVER use it with other 13.8 VDC products as the 
PS-701 will burn up any product that requires a  13.8 VDC regulated power 
supply.
