Hi Doug,

Bob had some excellent comments on your situation. I
have used Hustlers and Hamsticks in the past with good
results, but my most recent setup uses the Little
Tarheel  on a 2003 Toyota Camry.

This works very well for the limited time I have used
it since putting it on. Band conditions are not so
hot, and when that gets better you will be able to
work anything.

The Little Tarheel is not nearly as imposing as the
full size version, and mounts with a Diamond trunk lip
mount. I have almost no noise and have not yet
installed any extra grounding. Tar Heel sells an extra
slightly longer whip which will give you the
equivalent of the full size screwdriver on 40. They
told me that on bands above 40 the full size and the
Little Tarheel are equivalent.
