[ICOM] dead IC706 help pse

Help is needed for a friend of mine.  He has a dead Icom 706.  This is 
the first edition of the 706 (not the Mark 2).  The AC power supply is 
good.  The xcvr is totally dead whether running from battery or with 
the AC power supply.
 
The 30 amp and 4 amp fuses have been checked and they are good.
 
Any suggestions will be VERY welcome !
