Once again Gary gives the correct statement. We had a local radio dealer
here that sold the MAXON HTX-202 copies for $99 each. That was my wife's
first HT. It worked quite well also. I still have a manual copy here, I
was often asked by the OTers in the area programming questions.

Plug it in and try it. What is the worst that can happen? It could work, or
it could do nothing, or it could let the smoke out.
