[ICOM] IC-706 MKII and CI-V Cable

I have that one. It only costs $15 (or is it euros?), and I think you are
right that it is the only one that writes memories.

I was thinking someone said they run a cable between two Icoms and clone one
from the other without a computer in between. That could be handy.

Thanks

The only software that I have used that can reliably read and write memories
on the IC-706 is IC706_BKT by IZ2BKT.

I believe he has a license fee, but the time savings was well worth it..
