[ICOM] IC-7000 vs IC-R7000 vs IC-F7000: new HF commercial rig

The new replacement for the IC-706 line is allegedly the IC-7000, not to
be confused with the IC-R7000 receiver. And now another model to muddy
the waters and complicate matters further, Icom recently rolled out the
IC-F7000 -- a commercial quality DSP based HF transceiver with "standard"
ALE and ALE text messaging, multi-protocol Selcal and other assorted signalling
options, GPS interface, full remote capability (can be remoted via modem) and
much more. 1.6 to 30 Mhz 125 Watt output. Specs similar to Motorola Micom III
or Harris 5000 series but less rugged and more "stuff". Impressive critter I
tell you.
Saw a reference to it on a Russian site. My Russian is terrible. but
I *think* I read

Regardless, I sort of like the little "706 replacement shown in the
French magazine.
Wonder when it will be released in the US? Think they'll show it off at Dayton?
