There have been several phony non OEM rig accy's showing up on EBay lately
or so that I have been told.  I am not allowed on EBay anymore........

Just be careful when dealing there.  Try and get the guys real name and
phone number and talk to him before buying.  You cans send email to the
seller via EBay's censored mail system and if he does not contact you then
run for the hills.  He is probably a scam artist.

A bunch of the camera accy guys have gotten nailed lately for selling Nikon
accy's that were black marketed from the pacific rim.

Don, the real McCoy has a lot more on the top that just what you have above.

Each port is labeled, and the power input is labeled.  There is also a red 
LED on the front.  Also there are nice things on the bottom like an Icom 
serial number label.

Good luck - It sounds like you were misled.  It might still work fine, of
