Based on my experience with the Heils, the settings are very much dependent
on your voice characteristics and how you want to sound on the air...
suggest you go on the air with a close by ham with good hearing.. (that's
getting harder to find than you think) and adjust the mike on the air for
the most acceptable sound...

You have a very large number of variables on the Pro 3 including treble,
bass, high bandwidth cut off, low bandwidth cut off and at least 3 levels of
compression... you may find you want different settings for DX - punchy and
rag chewing...
