OK, I think we've beat this suject to death. I was
looking for some honest, unbiased input and, for the
most part, I received it. I am grateful to all who
took the time to give their opinions and offer their
support. These are the things I truly appreciate
about ham radio; we all have different experiences,
but we are always willing to help and give others the
benefit of our knowledge.
Again, thanks to all for your help. I apologize if my
question caused any hard feelings or if I used the
Icom reflector improperly. There are many of you much
more operationally and technically skilled than I am,
and I have and continue to value your ideas.
For the record, I am pretty much settled on the
756ProIII. I have used and loved Icom for quite some
time and am going to stick with it.
