All velly interesting, as Earl HAD BOUGHT and tried to make the Orion his set.
He had expectations that were NOT meet by the Orion.
Bill, aside from having very close friends at TenTec,
had different expectations.and they apparently were met.
Something I did notice over at the TT reflector.
They ( some of "them") spend too much time talking about ICOM,, in a
denigrating fashion. Let's continue to leave TT on the TT reflector.
Maybe we need another reflector:
My toys are better than your toys... or
if your radio was actually better than mine , I would have bought that
one silly.
