[ICOM] Need IC-765 Alignment Advice

I checked the BFO with a freq counter according to the manual and it was
right on??

The BFO frequency adjustments.

Located on the main board which is on the bottom of the radio. The LSB
USB and CW adjustments are under a shield cover. There are details in
the owners manual on adjustment.

Although 1Khz is quite a bit off. You will not be able to get that much
adjustment. You will need to set them per the manual or you will not be
centered on the filter pass band.

Are you absolutely sure it's ok on AM WWV? Be sure to read the manual on
how to calibrate.

I am hearing 1Khz high on 80 meters LSB. I have not checked the other
bands.
I checked the DSS , PLL and Passband freq according to the Tech Manual
all
are right on. What am I missing?
