For those interested I borrowed the Hubble Space Telescope and was then able
to read the pin numbers on the Icom IC-718 online diagram and the 5 pin DIN
plug and match them up with Rig Expert Tiny CI-V-1 ACC(1) wires.

The connections are as follows:

ACC(1) yellow wire to orange wire on Bux Comm 13 pin DIN prewired cable for
PTT. (pin 3)
ACC(1) white wire to light green wire on Bux Comm 13 pin DIN prewired cable
for rig receive AF out to sound card. (pin 12)
ACC(1) red wire to pink wire on Bux Comm 13 pin DIN prewired cable for MOD
in to rig. (pin 11)
ACC(1) untinned braid to Bux Comm 13 pin DIN prewired cable tinned braid for
ground.

Subject: [MixWRigExpert] Rig Expert Tiny CI-V-1 To IC-718 13 Pin ACC Socket

Hello to all I'm new to the group.

Has anyone purchased the Rig Expert Tiny CI-V-1 interface with the 5 pin DIN
plug attached and successfully converted it to a 13 pin DIN plug for the
Icom IC-718 13 pin DIN Jack? I purchased a Bux Comm 13 pin DIN plug with the
cable already soldered on and need to solder it in place of the 5 pin DIN
plug.

Unfortunately no schematic comes with the "Tiny" so there is no way for me
to determine which of the three colored wires of red, white and yellow to
the 5 pin DIN plug are PTT, AF in and AF out. I looked on the Rig Expert
website under Icom schematics and the 8 pin DIN plug is hard for me to trace
out due to my marginal eyesight.

Any input would be very much appreciated. BTW I own MixW v2.16.
