Sam,

The LDA Unit provides bandswitching voltage via the
external 24-pin connector for accessories such as an
antenna tuner (AT-100/500) and/or the IC-2KL
Amplifier. It is a very tough to find option unit.
Operation with an AT-series antenna tuner and/or
IC-2KL must be performed in manual mode, when the LDA
Unit is not fitted.

When the FL-30 is removed, the P3 jumper on the 2nd IF
Unit must be relocated from J8 (PBT) to J7 (IF Shift).
This is covered in the operator's manual, under
Options Installation.

No actions are required when removing the FL-45, this
renders the CW Mode inoperative when the mode switch
is placed in CW-N, which is normal, and the way the
rig operates in the stock configuration.
