[ICOM] AT-130 marine antenna tuners

Hi, Vladimir.

I believe the only limitation is that "MOST" marine
tuners only cover up to around 22 MHz. I don't have
my Icom Marine catalog here at work. If you don't
get a definitive answer during the next 10 hours,
I will look up AT-130 coverage when I get home from
work.

Hi all,

Eventually I managed to aquire two (two!) Icom AT-130
marine tuners some time ago. Both are brand new, in
factory sealed bags. I have never had any necessity
to touch them and they were just collecting dust.
However having moved to a new house I am faced a serious
problem with antennas' location.

The best I can imagine so far is a random wire from the
attic top across my backyard. Some counterposes could
be placed inside the attic and these wires will look
like a sort of Inv L. It looks like I am forced to
seriously consider matching the wire monster somehow.

Maybe it's a good chance for the tuners.

Does anybody have any experience/knowledge in usage of
the marine tuners with amateur equipment? Any hint or so?

Or maybe somebody needs such a tuner? I am certainly
ready for a trade.

73 and Merry Christmas,
