The 751A does not have a key click issue. I have not researched exactly
what R451 does.

Subject: [ICOM] IC-751A & Key Clicks

Good Morning All,

Being new to this group, I do not know if there was ever a thread
started about key clicks & the 751A...if there was, I apologize for the
repetition.

I am curious if anyone reading this has ever encountered complaints of
their 751A being "clicky" in CW, and if so, what they may have done
about it...

The 751A service manual briefly references an adjustment to R451(per
fold-out 6-9) in order to adjust "transmit start time"...has anyone ever
played around with the setting of this resistor, and if so, know what
impact its value might have on key clicks?

Any & all info/suggestions are most welcome...with thanks in advance!
