[ICOM] Looking for honest opinions.

Hi Mike,
I've owned and used my IC-910H (SN# 013xx) for 3 years and it has operated
flawlessly over that entire time. I'm very happy with its performance and
ergonomics. I use it almost exclusively for satellite operations with very
occasional contacts via terrestrial modes. It is equipped with the UX-910
1200 MHz module, the UT-106 DSP unit, the CT-17 level converter and the
AG-25/AG-35 mast mounted pre-amps. I've been an active satellite operator
for many years and can say this is an excellent satellite transceiver.
I won't hesitate to recommend this transceiver.

Subject: [ICOM] Looking for honest opinions.

Good morning.

I am seriously considering changing my IC-820 to an IC-910 with the
1200 MHz unit. I would be interested in hearing any opinions about this
radio - pro or con - plusses and minuses - etc.

This radio would be used for satellite work, terrestrial work, and
FM repeaters. We (our little Friday night group) are also seriously
considering building a 1200 MHz repeater.

If you own one or have used one I would appreciate hearing about it.
Please include at least the first two digits of the SN if you can - you know
how it can make a difference.

Thanks Y-all. And Merry Christmas. Looks like another snow-less one for
us!
