[ICOM] Cable from Icom 718 to PC soundcard

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure I want fixed audio
input and output levels because I am going to be using
SSB audio over the internet, not digital data. I might
want to raise or lower the audio out of the
transceiver at the host station or raise or lower the
audio at the host station.
I have a RASCAL from BUXCOM that i have used for PSK
on my Icom 706MKIIG.
I guess I can use another RASCAL...I just don't know
whether I should take the audio from the accessory
socket or microphone connector or feed the audio
(microphone) into the accessory socket or microphone
connector of the Icom 718. In other words I am not
sure if I want to used FIXED LEVELS or be able to vary
the audio levels remotely. Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW
