You are too kind! Glad my suggestion was helpful.
The TFT display in the IC-756Pro series should last for many years. I have
never seen a TFT go bad on a laptop computer. The CCFL backlight lamp could
fail suddenly, but it is not too difficult to replace. I have seen very few
reports of display failure on the 756Pro, pro2 or Pro3 reflectors.

While we're on the display, what would be a reasonable expectation of
lifespan for the display? Do we know what factors and adjustments might
reduce the life span of the display?
