Since you are only considering an AH-4 tuner, also consider that almost any of todays automatic antenna tuners can be made to work OK with your rig, LDG,MFJ,& SGC. Some such as the SGC-211 are battery powered, do not require a control cable and therefore can be placed in a more convient location closer to the antenna. If you decide to use a long wire, also give consideration to a good RF ground system as well. Good luck, Larry K4LXV.
