[ICOM] AH-4 help

Hmmm... First - you did not say that you an AH-4, only considering one.

I am not sure of the interfacing - but If an AH-4 works, I believe an AH-3
would be a better match to the 765. The 765 is 160-10 meters. The AH-3 is
160-10m. The AH-4 is 80-6 meters.

I used and AH-2 (AH-3 with outboard controller) through several military
missions. In Gulf War-1 with a 150 ft long-wire. Patch-quality in the USA.
Later - I was involved for 4 years in some counter-narcotics missions to the
south. I used a 35 ft fiberglass vertical with the AH-2/3 with 3 35 ft
radials. Worked fine.

If your 765 has a 4-pin connector labeled tuner, it will probably work.

Good luck.
