You could make a roof top mount out of lumber and concrete blocks. No
holes in the roof required. I use this method to support my weather
station on the flat roof over my pool deck. I believe Channel Master
makes a version to mount a 4' dish antenna on a flat roof. If you want
more info contact me off list.

Subject: [ICOM] AH-4 help

I've lost my tree to construction so my dipole
had to come down. I live in an apartment and the
owner of the building, my father-in-law, won't
let me put a vertical - he's afraid of rain
leakage due to the flat roof. One thing I'm
considering is an AH-4 with a looooong wire.

I have an IC-765 and need to know how to control the AH-4 with the 765.

Any suggestions?
