[ICOM] Separates

Hi Bob,

You would have to provide an external RF T/R relay to switch the antenna
between the transmitter and receiver, and also find a way of muting the
receiver whilst transmitting. It would also be advisable to ground the RF
input of the receiver during transmit to protect the receiver front end.

Surely it would be a lot simpler to simply use each radio the way it was
designed - as a transceiver.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Does anyone know it there is a way to use an ic728 and a Yaesu 920 as
separates. The icom for Xmit and the Yaesu for receive?

Or are they just plain not compatible?
