[ICOM] PRO vs PRO2

Not the 746, that is a totally different radio. The 746PRO.

There is a comparison of the 756PRO2 DSP with the 746PRO somewhere on the
internet.

Maybe this page on Adam's web page will get you started.

The 746PRO is a great radio - especially if you're interested in 2 meter
DX - as it covers that band also.

I think it is a contender in the PRO/PRO2 comparison - it does have some
differences - they're pointed out on the page given above. You might not
think they're worth the extra dollars though.

One fellow said "I paid all that extra money for the real time 'scope" - but
of course, he isn't trading the PRO away - he loves the 'scope - it is
fabulous - but the only time he hated it was when he paid for it -
afterwards it is fabulous!
