Any DSP is ineffective on CW when using narrow filters (below about
250Hz). On SSB, i.e., when using wider filters, DSP can be quite
effective.

The DSP on my PRO3 acts about the same as it did on my old PRO2. As a
DXer chasing weak signals all of the time, I'm quite satisfied with it.

The biggest change I've noticed between the PRO2 and PRO3 are the better
receiver preamps in the PRO3. Also, I no longer hear that audio "rumble"
when using narrow filters on CW with the pitch set to less than 450 Hz.
