[ICOM] IC-775DSP - KeyerHELP PSE

Hans and the group:
This setting does not do it...."paddle" (n for normal) gives me automatic
"dits" to the right and automatic "dahs" to the left.
I have used this paddle for years and it works FB on the PRO, PRO II and PRO
III, each of which has a "bug" setting in its menu. It may be that the 775
simply does not have that bug (or some equivalent) setting, as I sure can't
find it , H I. ...although that would somehow be surprising.
Any further thoughts from anyone ? Could it be that the 775 requires a
different plug configuration ? I don't think so ... but any ideas ?
My paddle is NOT an iambic squeeze, but a modern Vibroplex which is designed
to act as the old type bug...i.e. thumb on paddle to the right produces an
automatic series of "dits" and forefinger on the paddle to the left produces
a solid unbroken tone , i.e. an extended "dah" that stays until I release
the contact.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & 73
Malcolm Ringel, K3KZ
