I would like to thank each of you who took the time to write me with 
suggestions
and solutions for the following Icom related issues: 	
	
R-75 and removing the UT-102 speech module 	
	
746 Pro and the correct sequence to enter a frequency by the key pad	
	
746 Pro and the procedure to reset the unit back to factory defaults	
	
I have now resolved all of these issues and I appreciate your assistance
