Hi Dave,
There may be a bad connection between the TFT display and its driver. I
would look at the RGB Control circuit (DISPLAY Board, Q1201, Q1211, Q1221)
and the data bus driving the LCD (TFT) module. That will require getting
into the radio.
Before doing that, you could try adjusting brightness, contrast and horizon
in the SET/DISP menu.
Cheers for now, 73,

Subject: [ICOM] 756-Pro 2 Display Problem
Out of the blue my trusty 756-pro 2 has developed a color problem on all of
the 8 display configurations. Before I tare into it looking for loose or bad
connections etc. (assuming I can get to them easily), I'm looking for
comments and suggestions from the group. The symptoms are:
1. The background of my favorite "E" display now has a red cast in place of
the usual black and small text such as in the set-up menu is somewhat
distorted.
2. None of the display configurations look good but all readable.
3. There is occasional flicker in the background between the normal black
and the red cast reported above.
4. The usual red center marker for the scope display is now black.
5. Temperature does not appear to be an issue as the problem is present from
a cold start.
All comments and advice appreciated.
