[ICOM] CI-V "transceiver" mode?

Ah, yes.  There are several band-voltage driven items around that will
provide a ground.  Unfortunately, the KO4NR unit, while very nice in
almost all ways, is set up the other way.

   I must apologize...  After taking another look at "A Low-Cost Remote 
   Antenna Switch" article in the April QST, I realize that my controller, 
   as-is, will not work with this relay sub-system...  My controller uses 
   an Allegro 8-bit Open Collector relay driver chip to sink the "low side" 
   on a relay sub-system...  I'll look at some of the other Allegro parts 
   to see if they have a pin-for-pin compatible "high side" switch...  
   Gosh, if they do, I could provide both "low side" and "high side" 
   switching with just a part swap...
