[ICOM] CI-V "transceiver" mode?

Hi Mike (and gang),

Thank you for the suggestion... I actually tested the analog band data
output first and I was dissapointed to discover it did not provide
unique outputs for some bands (12 and 17, for example)... I really
wanted a decoder that would decode all 10 bands (160 through 6)... By
using the CI-V "frequency record" I can decode all ten bands with an
antenna "memory" for each band (as well as each single MHz of general
coverage spectrum)... My controller also has BCD I/O for fully decoding
(or encoding) Yaesu type 10-band BCD band data...

Regards, Mike - K8LH (Westland, MI)
