Which IF is the 2.1 KHz filter in? (The 455 KHz filter is twice as
expensive as the 9MHz)?
Stock in good condition they are worth $300 to $350. The 751A is worth
about $400 to $500 ($500 if it has the original box, manual, stock 500Hz CW
filter, microphone and is in perfect shape).
Things to remember about the older radios:
Propitiatory parts cannot be found any more. (Special ICs, displays,
switches and controls etc).
A new comparable rig is around $500 to $600 (IC 817 etc).
Most rigs seen on QTH.com, and other sites, are over priced. And it
shows... They are on the list for MONTHS! The rigs that are priced right,
don't last to long.
