Fuse both leads on both sides of the firewall.  Tie down the power leads so 
there is as little vibration as possible.  Do not (NOT) use one power lead as 
the antenna ground or the antenna lead as the power ground!  Check with a 
dealer about operating two-way radio in your vehicle model to avoid rf getting into
