This was one of the reasons why I changed the FL-80 with the FL-70.

Local HAM's did notice the difference before and after the change. It gave 
me a more natural voice.

Perhaps I change the FL-96 with the Inrad #124 2800 Hz filter. Excellent 
shape factor of 1.5!

I have only changed FL-96 to Inrad 109. And CFW455HT to Kiwa 6kHz.

As I have understood by the service manual, the transmitted audio in SSB is 
passed thru the 6kHz filters when the DSP is on in TX. So it is the DSP that 
control the TX range. When DSP is set to off, the TX audio is passed thru 
the FL-96 and FL-80.
