[ICOM] Heil PRO-SET PLUS!ic and RIGblaster Pro

I've been tinkering off and on for about six months trying to get a Heil 
PRO-SET PLUS!ic to work properly with a RIGblaster Pro. The radio is an 
IC756PROII.

My difficulty lies in recording wav files with the RIGblaster Pro in 
line between the Heil PRO-SET PLUS!ic and the PC sound card.

If I record a wav file using the Heil PRO-SET PLUS!ic (set to either 
icom or DX) plugged into the RigBlaster Pro mic 2 input, the level is 
about 20-30db lower than wav files recorded with my Icom SM-20 desk mic 
plugged into the RigBlaster Pro. And the low's are noticably attenuated 
when using the Heil.

If I record a wav file using the Heil PRO-SET PLUS!ic (set to icom) 
plugged directly into the computer sound card MIC IN, I get lots of 
level and no low end roll off. And the Heil PRO-SET PLUS!ic works as 
expected when connected to the radio.

For some reason the audio path through the RIGblaster Pro doesn't work 
well for the Heil PRO-SET PLUS!ic.

Any experience or ideas to try?
