[ICOM] Icom 756 serial number question

Does anyone know what serial numbers to avoid on the
Icom 756 because of the display problems?  Some
reviews said to avoid early serial numbers, but the
later serial numbers are OK.  When do the late serial
numbers start?  Anything else I should know about this
model?
