Hi Gary
Many thanks for the reply. Looks like I fell into that old trap of I assumed.
I assumed the 8 volts was on pin 2 like it is on my IC-751. I was hoping
that ICOM mics were wired the same, no matter if they were HF or VHF.
Will wire it up as you suggested and give it a try.
What can I loose, it's not my mic. heh heh heh
