[ICOM] 2100H auto repeater shift new / old

Afternoon every one. 

I have the old version 2100H. mine does not auto duplex on the lower end of the repeater band like most rigs do.I know that this is common with this rig.

I was working a gent on simplex a few weeks ago and he mentioned that his does auto duplex on the lower end.he bought his used so he does not know why the difference. I have searched the net looking for the update / mod for this if there is one.I cant find it.

does any one know IF there is an update for this problem on the 2100H ?
