Mine started doing this. The little tactile switch inside eventually went
completely bad. I contacted Icom's Parts Dept. and ordered a new switch.
It was about $1.46 for the part and $1 for shipping. They say shipping is
$4 but for such a small item they only charged me the actual shipping. The
switch is a relatively large surface mount part and fairly easy to install.

Anybody have any trouble with the HM 133? I have to squeeze mine like I
have my hands around Bin Ladens neck to make it transmit!. And thats pretty
darn hard!
