Hi Dave,
The CW Pitch display in the Filter Set mode screen for the 756Pro and
756Pro2 Is on p. 29 of the user manual for both radios. The Pitch control
description is also on p. 29 for the Pro and Pro2.
In the Pro3 manual, the Filter Set mode is described on p. 61, and the Pitch
control on p. 36. Thus, the feature has carried over from the Pro to the
Pro2, and now to the Pro3. The absolute Pitch setting in Hz, and the filter
graphics, are shown on the Filter Set mode screen of all three 756Pro
models.
Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

It also does this with the 756PRO, are you saying that this feature was
discontinued for the PRO2 and then brought back for the PRO3?

I know we had a few discussions on this topic on the
PROII but I was looking at the PROIII manual, page 36
and find that in the "Filter Set Mode" screen it
graphically displays the CW pitch operation.
In other words, since I like a higher note, I can set
it to 850hz using the graphic display. This sets the
xmit/receive. So the note will be centered in the
filter and I should be coming back right on the other
guy freq, plus or minus my tin ear.
