Jan,
Do not feel so bad  needless to say  we do have a few icom "shills" on
this board.
I find it interesting that the "Köln has surfaced in support of the 7800
or was it the 756(pro 3)must be a senior moment ,as a youngster I had the
pleasure of playing with one at  Rügen and it is a very interesting
design....
Please do not fault Tadeusz for using the 5khz specification as it is the
standard as used by R&S.
In about a month I will have the opportunity to match the 7800 against
the best from R&S and lets see where the wind will lead at least I know
that the much touted (3) is still not in the R&S ballbark.
