[ICOM] 706 mike

There is an ICOM OPC-589 on EBAY right now.

I bought a non-ICOM one from W2IHY (I think) and it works great and cheaper
than a stock ICOM one.

I need to use an icom desk mike with a 706, can I make an adapter or is
one available.
the desk mike is the IC-SM6.
I can make up the 8 conductor connector to fit the -706, the pin outs and
the male connector to fit the mike are the problem?
