[ICOM] "Drake" vs. "Sherwood" R4C

In fairness to our beloved ICOM receivers, I would say that Rob
Sherwood's R4C is not a Drake product...it is so modified and changed
that I suspect a creative engineer could make most of our rigs do
nearly as well with some effort (check out what George at INRAD is
doing for the Ten Tec OMNI VI through use of a good, narrow roofing
filter. I suspect the OMNI will compete with the modified R4C for that
very close-in spacing BDR number.) One man's opinion (or wishful
thinking!)
