Hi,
Several companies make outboard audio systems. You probably want an active
DSP system as opposed to a passive audio filter. Either way you can check
with
SGC -they make either outboard or internally installed DSP filters.
I have used their product and I think it is excellent.
Gap antennas has an outboard filter (If I remember correctly)
MFJ They have audio systems to both boost and cut audio signals
and may have an outboard DSP unit.
I think there may be a couple more out there as well.

I would like to know if there is a filter that I can buy or build that will
remove the hash noise (fried egg sound as i call it) that I can put into a
external speaker or headphones. If I can't build one, can anyone recomend a
external speaker or headphones with this type of filter system. And yes I
have serched te web and found very little on the subject.
